Dating between circa late 1700’s to the early 1800 the Newman Wine Vaults is one of the oldest standing structures in St. John’s. Constructed of brick and stone, the vaults were used to age the Celebrated Newman’s Port.

The Canada Strong Pass is a 2025–2026 federal initiative designed to boost attendance and accessibility by offering free admission to children (17 and under) and 50% off for young adults (18–24). It aims to foster national heritage exploration, with the federal government (and some provincial governments) providing funding to offset lost revenue for participating institutions. The 2026 summer program runs June 19 to September 7th, inclusive.
